Orders and secure payment
When you continue to checkout, Stripe processes the payment and collects the details needed for that transaction, which may include your name, email address, billing address and payment information. The website sends Stripe your selected products, licence types, prices and regional-pricing information.
After payment, the website checks the Stripe checkout session and receives order details such as payment status, amount, purchaser name and email, and the items bought. These details are used to prepare the licensed PDFs and licence certificates. Full card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored on this website.
Reviews
If you leave a review, the submitted name, star rating, review text and submission time are stored in Cloudflare D1 for moderation. If the review is approved, the name, rating, review and month/year may be displayed publicly on the website. Reviews can also be hidden or deleted during site administration. A short-lived, first-party cookie named dft_review_submit prevents repeated submissions from the same browser for about 10 minutes. Do not include private, sensitive or identifying information in review text.
Information kept on your device
Your cart selections, preferred display currency and motion preference are kept in browser local storage so they can remain available when you return. You can clear cookies and site storage through your browser, although doing so may clear the cart or reset site preferences.
Messages you send
If you email ibcyouth26@gmail.com, the information in your message and ordinary email metadata are handled by the email providers involved so the enquiry can be answered.
How information is used
- To create a Stripe checkout, verify payment and provide the purchased digital files.
- To place the purchaser and licence details on each delivered PDF and certificate.
- To help investigate an order, recover download access or respond to a support request.
- To operate regional pricing and show an estimated local currency.
- To understand how visitors find and use the site and which products are purchased.
- To publish reader reviews and administer or remove them when appropriate.
- To protect the site, prevent abuse and diagnose technical problems.
Services involved
The current site relies on service providers for specific functions:
- Stripe
- Secure checkout, payment processing, receipts and payment records. Stripe handles information under its own privacy terms.
- Cloudflare
- Website delivery, security, request metadata, approximate network location, D1 database storage and file delivery infrastructure.
- Email providers
- Delivery and storage of messages sent to the published support email address.
The site's current implementation does not sell or rent visitor information. Information may still be disclosed when required by law, to protect the site or its users, or to the providers needed to run the services described above.
Young people
The devotionals are written for teenagers, but a young visitor should ask a parent or guardian before making a purchase or submitting personal information if they are not old enough to do so independently where they live. Approved reviews are public, so teenagers should use only a name they are comfortable displaying and should not share school, address, phone number or other private details.
